Dr Waterman is a member of the research team CRHIA (Center for Research in International and Atlantic History); he is also Director at University Asia Pacific Institute, and Director of the PhD programme in the Humanities. He is the author of Where Worlds Collide: Pakistani Fiction in the New Millennium (OUP, 2015). Dr Waterman is currently working on Pakistani history, culture, and literature in English, and has served on the editorial team of Pakistaniaat: A Journal of Pakistan Studies.
