Dr. Muhammad Aslam
Associate Professor of Linguistics, University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan
Dr Muhammad Aslam is an Associate Professor of English (Linguistics) at UCP, Lahore. He holds a PhD in English Linguistics from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and an MPhil from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, where he received a Gold Medal for first position. Before joining UCP, he taught at the Department of ELT and Linguistics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, for 22 years. His research interests include SFL-based Genre Theory and its acquisition, comparative syntax, comparative morphology, pragmatics, and Pakistani languages, and he has published widely in these areas. He has teaching experience at the MPhil and PhD levels in public and private universities.
